Why should we have elections?

1. New parties and prime ministers have new ideas
2. The people in power can do new things, make new laws etc
3. Stops the country's government being corrupt
4. New ideas on how the country should be run
5. The people have a say in who runs the country - democractic
6. To improve the country
7. It makes the government and prime minister more responsible
8. Stops the government from making bad laws and being mean to its people
9. Different ideas on how to run the country
10. Not having someone too old who might die whilst governing
11. We can change the prime minister regularly
12. The people of the country have some say in who leads the country
13. It allows people to have the opportunity to change who they chose
14. Ensures we have a sane Prime Minister
