1. Input: computer peripherals that are used to enter data into the computer
1.1. Digital Camera
1.1.1. Advantages: capture events and upload to computer immediately; can also record short video clips; has memory so photos can be uploaded later; not expensive; can be used to photograph student work to be posted on website, for class newsletter, and to document stages of a project
1.1.2. Disadvantages: Easily lost or stolen; internal memory is not large, can break if dropped; low megapixel can affect resolution
2. Output: hardware that moves data that has been processed out of the computer
2.1. LCD Projector
2.1.1. Advantages: project images from computer or video onto a screen; large enough to be seen across the room; built in speakers; video input can display video, DVD, TV from cable & digital pictures; cost effective
2.1.2. Disadvantages: resolution and contrast may make if hard to see; cost of replacement bulbs
