Bod is afraid of Jack after learning about him , because of Jack , it was indicated that Bod was afraid to step out of the graveyard fearing that someone might hurt him .He also fears that Jack would harm Scarlett one of his only friends . As in Chapter 7 , when Jack had Scarlett by the neck , Bod was really afraid that he would hurt her .

2.1.1. Silas is Bod's guardian .He is someone Bod really looks up to . Silas was the person that helped save Bod too when he was trying to run away from Jack , when Bod was a baby . Silas was the 'stranger' who managed to get the Jack who talk the out to leaving the graveyard and saving Bod's life .

3. Mother Slaughter

3.1.1. Mother Slaughter is another resident of the graveyard .She was also one of the reasons for allowing Bod to stay on the graveyard . She feels that Bod looks similar to her nephew Harry . She is the one of the only ghost Bod can see as he grew older . .

4. Scarlett
4.1. What is her relationship with Bod ?
4.1.1. Scarlett and Bod Met in each other’s dreams . The are really good friends . However , Scarlett sees Bod differently in the night than in the morning light . As after all , Bod killed four men in front of Scarlett , and she was shocked and overwhelmed by this incident .
