1. Assessment is the shared process of gathering purposeful and systematic measurement for documentation, reflection, and improvement of both student learning and institutional practices

3.5. Informal Formative- Observation

4.1. Given at the end of a unit (large chunk of learning)
4.2. Information is often reviewed
4.3. Examples include standardized testing, research projects, final exams, etc.
4.4. Summative Assessment taking skills often gave to be taught (procedure)
