1. Explore the Alternatives -I can do my homework on the bus -I can skip my homework this once and make sure I don't miss anymore -I can copy off my friend before class -I can do it before homebase

1.1. Consider the Consequences 1. I can do my homework on the bus Positive: My homework will be done and on time, technically Negative: I might get nauseous from doing it on the bus 2. I can skip my homework this once Positive: I will not be so stressed out about finishing it and I won't get bus-sickness Negative: It will affect my behaviour grade in this class and I have anough bad grades there in other classes. 3. I can copy off my friend Positive: I can have the homework done and not be stressesd. Negative: I will get caught and be in huge trouble for cheating on my homework. Also, I will feel really guilty about it for the rest of time, which isn't fun. 4. I can do it before homebase Positive: I can get it done without the bus-sickness Negative: I probably won't have enough time because my bus reaches late, and to be honest, I'll probably just end up talking to my friends instead of doing the homework, which is the reason I didn't finish it last night in the first place.

1.1.1. Identify Your Values 1. My mom doesn't really want me to do my homework on the bus 2. If I can finish something that is due, I will do it. It is uncomfortable to just leave something completely empty without even trying, especially when I had options to do it. 3. No. No cheating. Ever. 4. I don't really have any values against this, but this isn't really a good option because its squeezes my time.

1.1.1.1. Decide and Act Finish my homework on the bus: I don't do this often, so it's okay if I do it just this once. 1. Listen to music for the first 20 minutes so as to reduce nausea. 2. Make yourself pull out your computer at 7:20 and connect to the hotspot on your phone. 3. Make sure to keep listening to music, not only to reduce nausea but also to keep yourself focused and not talking to your friends on the bus. 4. Complete homework and be happy by the time the bus comes to school 5. If you have not finished by this time, it is okay to do the rest before homebase because you would have completed most of it in the 20 + minutes you have been working on the bus.

1.1.1.1.1. Evaluate the Results How did your decision work out? It worked out well. I'm almost done with my homework and I'm almost at school. I planned my time well. How has it affected your life? I now won't get a bad behaviour grade in this class, and my mother will not think I as irresponsible as she believes me to be. I will get a better phone, and this will cause my less frustration in my daily life about my phone not working. No I'm just kidding (but not really) but I have proven myself to not be as irresponsible as my mother believes me to be because I may have forgotten my homework, but I managed to take responsibility for my own actions and fix my problem. What did you learn? I now know that it doesn't take me very long to complete my homework if I just keep focused. If you could do it over again, what would you do differently? I would have done this mind map last night.
