2.1. The Code of Hannurabi is related to restitution and retribution as Hannurabi heavily based his laws on the principles of retribution and restitution.

3.1. The British North American Act is heavily influenced by the Rule of Law

3.1.1.1. The Supreme Court of Canada is Influenced by the Rule of Law because everyone is seen as equal under the law in any court and in any judiciary.

3.2. The Crown was a really important component of the British North America Act. The Crown granted Canada as an independent nation. Although we were independent, The British Crown had control of us in foreign affairs and most political matters.,

3.2.1.1. The Crown and the Canada Act are related as Queen Elizabeth II signed our constitution making us a fully indepoendant nation. At this point we were able to freely change our laws and constitution without the consent of Britain.

3.2.1.2. The Statute of Westminster gave governing power to Canada. Canada could now control it's own laws and represent itself in foreign affairs. Although we were able to pass our own laws, we had to have them passed by the Governor-General, the representative of the Queen in Canada

3.3. Through the British North America Act, Canada was able to establish it's own parliament. As an independent dominion, we were able to elect a Canadian Prime Minister to help govern our country politically

3.3.1.1.1. The House of Commons help make laws and overall help make changes in the Canadian society. This can be done through things such as voting or even debating

3.3.1.2.1. The Senate is the group of people that review and look over bills that have been passed by the house of commons. They vote and either accept or reject the bill

4. Magna Carta

4.1. The Magna Carta and the rule of law are related as the Magna Carta made all people equal under the law. This controlled the kings power and gave England a constitutional monarchy

4.1.1. Habeus Corpus

4.1.1.1. Habeus Corpus and the Magna Carta are related as the King or Queen's powers were limited. They were not able to throw anybody into prison without a fair trial
