1. They try to pursued every one to make the same decision to make things fast. The women played a very big role in the Mikmaq tribe, they had to keep the families happy and feed and take care of the children and catch small animals to eat. They also helped with making decisions of going to war or if they should do a certain thing.

2. Extra Facts: They would not usually live up to 100 years of age and they used many tools for hunting fishing and creating things. They also ate berries.

3. The government was chosen by their responsibility and leadership and their ability to reach agreement. They would discuss the problems until everyone agreed to keep everyone happy.

4. They lived in small villages of clan families called clans. Mikmaq government did not tell the people what to do they made sure that every one was happy with what they had to do or what needs to be done.

5. They relied on hunting and fishing for their food source and clothing source and some of their house source. They would also never waste anything they got from animals.

6. The Mikmaq lived in the woodlands and along the east coast which is now Nova Scotia. In the winter and spring they moved to different camps.
