3. Define: Browser

3.1. A web browser is a software application for retrieving, presenting, and traversing information resources on the World Wide Web. An information resource is identified by a Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) and may be a web page, image, video, or other piece of content.[1] Hyperlinks present in resources enable users to easily navigate their browsers to related resources.


4. Opera

4.1. Pros:

4.1.1. 1 Gives you tools to do a wide range of tasks besides browsing.

4.1.2. 2 Widely cross-platform - it even has versions for the Nintendo DS and Wii games consoles.

4.2. Cons:

4.2.1. 1 No private browsing mode.

4.2.2. 2 Not as well know as these other browsers.

5. Chrome

5.1.1. 1 Runs very smooth and fast.

5.1.2. 2 Supports themes/skins

5.2.1. 1 Chrome still doesn’t have a print preview feature.

5.2.2. 2 Doesn’t support ad filtering by default.

6. Safari

6.1. Pros:

6.1.1. 1 Safari incorporates the look and feel of Mac OS X with the Cover Flow feature that lets you flip through pages of your browsing history and bookmarks and also includes tabbed browsing, page previews and private browsing.

6.1.2. 2 Easy to brows with with a lot of functions

6.2. Cons:

6.2.1. 1 Only works with Apple devices.

6.2.2. 2 Doesn’t support ad filtering by default.

7. Firefox

7.1. Pros:

7.1.1. 1 After Explorer is the most used with more updates.

7.1.2. 2 Mozilla claims Firefox 3.5 is more than twice as fast as Firefox 3, and 10 times as fast as Firefox 2, but our testing shows it still lags behind Chrome, Safari and Opera.

7.2. Cons:

7.2.1. 1 Doesn’t support ad filtering by default.

7.2.2. 2 No mobile version.
