1. Students determine the role of citizenship in the promotion of rules and laws.
1.1. use any form of multimedia to promote a law and rule, then create a poll on which law is the most important to promote
2. Students determine the reasons for laws.
2.1. create a commercial on why we need a law (choose any law of your choice and convince public why we need to follow this certain law)
3. Students determine the consequences for people who violate rules and laws.
3.1. students research any law or rule of their choice and present the consequences for violating it with multimedia (e.g. song/illustrated/PPT/news report)

5.1. students work in small groups to create a persuasive video explaining one of parts of the US Constitution and why it is important
6. Students understand the role of the executive branch with an emphasis on local government.
6.1. divide students into different political parties; one student is the candidate and the rest in the group create a commercial with the Videolicious app; hold a presidential election in class;
7. Students understand the role of the legislative branch with an emphasis on local government.
7.1. students create their own bill, with Prezi/PPT/Glogster to persuade class (divided into representatives and senators) to pass it
