2.2.1. Commander in Chief of the Armed forces

2.2.2. Carries out laws

2.2.3. Negotiate treaties with other countries

2.3. Requirements

2.3.1. Born a U.S citizen

2.3.2. At least 35 years old

2.3.3. Serves 2 - 4 year terms

2.3.4. Must have lived in the U.S for 14 years

3. Judicial Branch

3.1. Supreme Court

3.1.1. One chief justice

3.1.2. Highest court

3.1.3. Power to examine laws and actions of local

3.1.4. 13 courts of appeals

3.2. Responsibilities

3.2.1. Interprets laws

3.2.2. Makes sure laws are followed correctly

3.3. Requirements

3.3.1. The senate must approve the presidents choice of new members of the supreme court

3.3.2. cases must already have been through the entire system of courts
