1. Video Camera

1.1. The camera was one of the main hardware technologies that we used to film our music video. From our previous AS year we all knew how to film. However since it was me and Korrie in the music video we needed a third person to film. Sometimes we would use the help of the tripod to put the camera in place. I learned how to create better angles to fit the genre of our music video using the camera. The screen would allow me to see what the shot looked like. The focus wheel would usually be on automatic however we would sometimes manually focus to give an effective blurry look.

2. SD Card

2.1. The SD card was used to save all of our shots into one area. After filming we would come into college and import our shots into our video drive. The SD card would be very useful as it is light and easy to carry in a pocket. However this item is usually easy to lose.

2.2. Video Drive

2.2.1. The video drive was were we saved the Group 20 shots. Only we had access to this drive which meant all of our shots would be in a safe area.

3. MAC

3.1. The Mac was used to open programs to help us construct our music video. This was were all of the construction occurred and it allowed us to see our shots on a wide screen. It was one of the essential hardware technologies because it was the host to Final Cut Pro

4. Speakers

4.1. Whilst filming we would sometimes play the song in the background to keep in sync with our lyrics. Therefore the speakers were important to have because sometimes the distance would not let us hear the video play from a phone or ipod. The speaker was useful to have because it was effective and easy to carry.

5. iPod

5.1. So I am noting down the ipod as a technology because it helped us out a lot in different ways. We would use the ipod flash light when the dido light wasn't bright enough. We also used the internet on the ipod to search how to get to filming locations. We sometimes used the ipod to play the original song. The ipod also helped me film reactions after the cinema viewing

6. Flip Cam

6.1. The flip cam was only used as a form to collect feedback or student reviews of our music video and ancillary product. It was easier to use then the ipod because the USB would allow for easy importing of the file
