1.2. New Jersey

1.2.1. New Jersey was an english colony and was part of New York until it was split.

1.2.2. This colony wa spart of New York until cut off to be given to a monarch or family but the became a royal colony.

1.2.3. This colony was founded to be given to a wealthy family.

1.2.4. Most of the people in this colony woukld have been farmers.

1.2.5. This colony is important beecause over time it became a large city and trade hub.

1.3. Pennsylvania

1.3.1. William Penn founded this colon for the quakers.

1.3.2. Penn was friends with King Charles II and asked for a charter for a new colony.

1.3.3. Penn was a holy man and wanted to make a place where quakers coud live without persecution.

1.3.4. The people in Pennsylvania where those from many religous backgrounds. Most were Farmers.

1.3.5. Pennsylvania grew to become a large colony that was known for decent relations with the natives and religous equality.

1.4. Delaware

1.4.1. Delaware was part of William Penn's Charter for Pennsylvania but the settlers there didn"t want to send delgate all the way to Philidelphia and eventually became its own Colony.

1.4.2. This Colony was founded as part of Pennsylvania which was given to WIlliam Penn from Charles II.

1.4.3. Delaware was a far off part of Pennsylvania that didn;t work very well from afar.

1.4.4. Swedish settlers were the fist people to move here and made up most of the people.

1.4.5. This colony is significant because it became a seperate colony from a larger colony.
