1.1. Monitor
1.1.1. The benefit the monitor allows the student to see his/her work.
1.2. Printer
1.2.1. Printer allows the student a hard copy. The disadvantage is we're killing trees.
1.3. Speakers
1.3.1. If the teacher is teaching a lesson with an electronic book this will enable the entire classroom to hear the reading of the book.
1.4. Headphone
1.4.1. Wearing headphone in the classroom will give the privacy to each student. One can view this time of headphone wearing as library time.
1.5. Projector
1.5.1. Projector can be use to show movies, PSA in the classroom.
2. Input Devices
2.1. Keyboard
2.1.1. The keyboard allows the students enter word, characters, and instructions to the computer
2.2. Mouse
2.2.1. Mouse moves the I beam around the monitor.
2.3. Microphone
2.3.1. If you have speech software the microphone allows your words the ability to appear on the screen. Sometimes the words do not appear on the screen as to what one has said. It take time for the software to understand your voice.
2.4. Scanner
2.4.1. Document that cannot be faxed or copy, the scanner allows one to enter the document on the computer. Using the scanner you do not have the ability to edit the document.
2.5. Touch Pad
2.5.1. The touch pad you can find on laptops, the disadvantage with the touchpad is the sensitive nature of the pad. I have noticed that you can end up in another part of the document if you are not careful.
