Mexican-American War

1. A huge battle began at Palo Alto on May 8, 1846.
2. A lot of people didn't want to battle with the Mexicans.
3. The Mexicans and Americans really wanted to win the war.
4. Both Mexican and American sides agree on a treaty to end their war.
5. Mexico believed now that the U.S accepted Texas was an act of war.
6. The Mexicans invaded the land and defeated the Americans.
7. Mexican and American soldiers got together in a small town in Mexico City.
8. And that is how both sides started and ended at a war.
