A Midsummer Nights Dream

1. 2. Hermia and Lysander plan to run away and get married before the law catches them.

2. 4. Hermia and Lysander flee to the forest, pursued by Demetrius and Helena.

3. 1. Egeus brings his daughter Hermia to the city of Athens in hopes that the king Theseus will be able to use his power to force her to marry Demetrius instead of Lysander.

4. 5. Oberon and Titania enter the scene of the forest, arguing about the changeling boy.

5. 3. A group of men plan to put on a play for Theseus ans Hippolyta after their wedding. They decide to practice in the forest.

6. 6. Oberon decides to use a love potion on Titania to make her so focused on the thing she loves that she forgets about the changeling boy. Oberon also tells Puck to use the potion on the man in the athenian garments, meaning Demetrius, so that he will stop abusing Helena.

7. 7. Puck mistakes Lysander for Demetrius, and when Lysander wakes up, he falls in love with Helena. Puck then carries out Oberon's other plan to make Titania fall in love with a vile creature, so when he comes across Bottom practicing the play for Theseus with the other actors, Puck turns Bottom's head into an ass's one and makes Titania fall in love with Bottom.

8. 8. Lysander, Demetrius, Hermia and Helena meet in the forest and start arguing about who loves who.

9. 9. Oberon manages to get the changeling boy from Titania, and seeing what he has done to Titania and the young lovers, decides to remove the effects of the love potion.

10. 10. Egeus, Theseus and Hippolyta come by the young lovers in the forest, and Theseus decides to overrule Egeus and let Hermia marry Lysander. Since Demetrius still had the love potion's effect directed at Helena, Oberon's first plan for Demetrius, Theseus decided the Helena and Demetrius would get married in the same day as Theseus and Hippolyta and Herima and Lysander.
