3.1. Reaching out to ordinary women to expand the movement and raise their awareness of how feminism could help them.

4.1. "I'm desperate. I begin to feel I have no personality. I'm a server of food and a putter-on of pants and a bedmaker, somebody who can be called on when you want something. But who am I?"

5.1. Feminist movement sought women's equality on both a political and personal level.

6. Outreach Activities

6.1. Due to the cross-cutting nature of the women's movement, which included women who were already members of other movements, it was naturally suited to build links with these movements.
