1. Adulthood

1.1. On his 22nd birthday, Teddy married Alice Hathaway Lee, which he described as the "light" of his life.

1.2. They had a daughter together, Alice Lee Roosevelt; however, his wife died two days after giving birth due to kidney failure.

1.3. He was unable to take care of Alica due to mourning, so his sister had custody of her until she was three.

1.4. Teddy focused on work into the legislative branch of government. He did not like to speak of Alice, but married his second wife, Edith Kermit Carow later on in his life.

5.1. Roosevelt was the 26th president of the United States of America. He was in office from September 14, 1901- March 4,1909.

5.2. He was the 25th Vice President of the United States for a short period of time, March 4, 1901- September 14,1901.

5.3. He is known in office for being the youngest President ever, and for supporting women suffrage.
