Input/ Output Devices by Mind Map: Input/ Output Devices

1. Keyboard is a key input device for any computer. Keyboards have many control functions for the computer which tells the computer what to do. One down fall for the keyboard is that they need to be replaced because of heavy use.

2. Printers display information in hard copy form. A printer in the classroom can be a big advantage, students can see their work on reports on a print document. The major problem with printers is that they run out of ink which with a big class would become costly.

3. Mouse and pointing devices are also a huge part of the computer. These types of devices allow the user to point and click at the desired function wanted. These devices can get worn and not work well which can get annoying.

4. The Monitor is the visual output for the computer. It helps in the classroom by allowing the educator to adjust the screen for better viewing to all students. The down fall to monitors is that as software advances it is sometimes difficult for an old monitor to keep up making it an issue.
