1.1. Desert

1.1.1. Deserts are places where water or moisture don't get to. You wouldn't find find them near any kind of body of water unless your are in an oasis.

1.2. Tropical grassland

1.2.1. Tropical grasslands are usually near the equator and cover much of Africa, Australia, South America, and India

1.3. Grassland

1.3.1. Grasslands are lands surrounded by grass with few or no trees. You would see grazing or roaming animals in large groups.

1.4. Forest

1.4.1. Forests are thick bodies of land dominated by trees. There are three layers to forests. The forest floor, the understory, and the canopy.

3.1. an organic material that comes from dead plants and animals and their waste products
