1.1. Water cycle: the cycle of processes by which water circulates between the Earth's oceans, atmosphere, and land.

1.2. Evaporation: The changing of a liquid into gas, often under the influence of heat.

1.3. Transpiration: the process by which plants absorb water through roots and then give off water vapor through pores in their leaves.

1.4. Precipitation: Rain, snow, sleet, or hail that falls to the ground.

1.5. Condensation: Water that collects as droplets on a cold surface when humid air is in contact with it.

6.1. Molecule: A group of atoms banded together, representing the smallest fundamental unit of a chemical compound that can take part in a chemical reaction.

6.2. compound: a thing composed of two or more separate elements.

6.3. Hydrocarbons: a compound of hydrogen and carbon such as any of those that are the chief components of petrolium and natural gas.

6.4. Organic Compounds: Any member of a large class of gaseous liquid, or solid chemical compounds whose molecules contain carbon.

6.5. Inorganic Compounds: Compounds not considered "organic". Traditionally viewed as being synthesized by the agency of geological systems.

7. Hydrocarbon and organic compound
