1. Past continuous
1.1. We use the past continuous to talk about activities in progress at a moment in the past.
1.1.1. Time expressions: while, as, etc.

2. Past perfect
2.1. We use the past perfect to talk about actions that happenedbefore another actions in the past.
2.1.1. Time expressions: when, after, by, etc.
3. form:
4. Afirmative: Subject+had+V.P.P. Example: She had finished the exam.
5. Question: Had+subject+V.P.P. Example: Had you finished the exam?
6. Short answers: Yes,+subject+had. No,+subject+hadn't.. Example: Yes, she had. No, I hadn't.
7. Negative: Subject+hadn't+V.P.P. Example: They hadn't finished exam.
8. Afirmative: I/He/She/It+was+V+ing. You/They/We+were+V+ing. Example: I was going. You were going.
9. Negative: I/He/She+wasn't+V+ing. You/We/They+weren't+V+ing. Example: I wasn't talking. I weren't talking.
10. Question: Was+I/She/He/It+V+ing. Were+You/We/They+V+ing. Example: Was I going? Were you going?
11. Short answers: Yes,+I/He/She/It+was. No,+I/She/He/It+wasn't. Yes,+You/We/They+were. No,+You/We/They+weren't.
12. Past simple
12.1. We use past simple to describe finished actions or situations in the past.
12.1.1. Time expressions: yesterday, morning, in (year), etc.
