1.2. Troops shows bravery even in tough situations

1.3. To show that Australians were not people who just descended from convicts.

2.1. It grounded Australia as not just a convict country.

2.2. Showed the world of Australia's strong and impulsive character.

2.3. Creates memory and makes us realise how lucky we are to live in a country where war is not an issue.

2.4. Over the years become known as ANZAC day which is not a public holiday every year on the 25th of April.
