1. Elements
1.1. Metals
1.1.1. Shiny and good conductors of electricity.
1.2. Non-metals
1.2.1. Dull color and are bad conductors of thermal energy and electric current.
1.3. Metalloids
1.3.1. There called semiconductors and have properties of both non metals and metals.
1.4. Elements can be identified in many ways such as density, melting point and also boliling point.
2. Pure substance is a substance in which there is only 1 particle. An example of one is gold.
3. Compounds
3.1. A compound composed of 2 or more elements that are chemically combined. An example of that is salt or sugar.
3.1.1. Salt consists of chlorine and sodium.
4. Mixtures
4.1. Homogenious mixtures
4.1.1. One kind type or the same of mixture
4.1.1.1. An example of that is water
4.2. Heterogeneous mixtures
4.2.1. A mixture the the components aren't uniform
4.2.1.1. An example of that is water and oil
