1. Vision

1.1. JFCY "seeks to increase our impact on the rights and dignity of children and youth by providing a deeper offering of sustainable community development, public legal education and direct legal services (JFCY, 2013)."

2. Equity, Inclusion and Cultural Diversity

2.1. JFCY makes a point to advertise their intentions to help all children and youth needing legal assistance. "JFCY is a LGBTQ Positive Space." They also address how they can provide services to homeless youth in the Toronto area (JFCY, 2013).

2.2. JFCY is socio-culturally conscious and desires to make a difference in the lives of children and youth by allowing them to complete their education.

3. Services

3.1. Street Youth Legal Services: This program provides legal information, advice, and referrals to street-involved youth through workshops and individual consultations (JFCY, 2013).

3.2. Provide legal services for children and youth under 18 and for homeless youth under 25 (JFCY, 2013).

4. In the Community

4.1. JFCY is involved in many community development work that ranges from law reform, public outreach, partnerships, committee work and delivering workshops and training sessions (JFCY, 2013).

5. Mission

5.1. JFCY "strives to protect and advance the legal rights and dignity of children and youth in Canada. Voice and empowerment are important tenants of the mission. By providing children and youth with the tools and context which allows them to speak for themselves as individual rights holders in our society is the most effective way to preserve their rights (JFCY, 2013)."
