1. Vernallis : We use lots of base tracks
2. Vernallis : during the argument scene we used mostly jump cuts to convey the fact that Zahra is angry and annoyed.
3. Vernallis : At the beginning the establishing shot moves in time with the music ; also in the 2nd chorus, when the guy embraces Zahra, the camera moves very well with music
4. Goodwin : every time Sarene (the artist) appears in the music video, she makes eye contact to the viewer
5. Goodwin : Throughout the music video we repeat the different scenes, specially Sarene's shots - because most of the times she sings the particular word 'Conqueror', she appears on screen.
6. Goodwin : I believe the relationship between our music video and the lyrics, could be classified - Amplification. This is because, the lyric is not really focusing specifically about romantic relationships, although it could apply to it. The lyric, overall, focuses in situations that something went wrong but you have to be strong enough to overcome that situation. If the viewer read the lyrics first, he/she would probably think about someone in a very bad situation, such as low self-esteem or failing to achieve something they really wanted. In our video, we present a more "youth kind of thinking"(addressing our audience), bringing more insight and meaning which does not oppose the lyric.
7. We were extremely influenced and inspired by the music video : Comfort Inn Ending by Jhené Aiko. The story line is very similar : is about this romantic relationship that ended and the woman is quite angry. The fact that she does not show the man's face makes the viewer feel in someway curious, so we decided to reproduce that as well in our music video.
