5. France divided : Vichy france was ruled by the French government under germnan control and occupied france was under direct control of the german army.

6. Battle of Britain : After france Britain was next for Germany

7. The blitz: hitler ordered this to destroy the will of the english people. Planes regularly attacked. thousands were made homeless.more than 40k civilians killed.

8. operation Barbarossa: Hitler launched a three pronged attack on Russia.

9. Stalin called on the russians to fight The Great Patriotic War against germany.

10. Japan attacked the Pacific fleet of the US Navy at Pearl Harbour. America joins the war.

11. D-Day : 6 June 1944 the allies invaded Frances Normany coast and opened a second front. 130K soldiers ready for invasion.

12. Atomic bombs : America dropped two atomic bombs , on Nagasaki and Hiroshima. Victory in japan day is celebrated on 15 August .

13. Dunkirk : operation dynamo was deployed, which was the mass evacuation of troops. 300k troops rescued in 7 days

14. Day of the Eagle : 1500 planes attacked britain. Their plan was to attack airfields and radar stations.
