TECHNOLOGY

1. “Technology is the effort to organize the world for problem solving so that goods and services can be invented, developed, produced, and used.” (Hughes, 1870-1970)Science gives humanity better technology each day, only for one purpose. It is to keep the world safe, and find solution to every problem humanity will face in the future, with these couple definitions technology has many meanings.

2. On the other side, machine, science, and a skill of art is what is known as technology. (Schatzberg, 2006). Therefore, technology is anything that human discovered, for their use and also improving from the invention, to professionalize and make it a better use in the future for the safety and protection of the society.

3. When exploring personal knowledge, in my mind technology is what we use everyday. Technology is computer, cars, social networking, media, and Cellphones. For instance, it is the way to travel or connect with someone at all times. An easier version to do things quicker and more professional in a modern world. Something latest, expensive, and attractive every time. Also, a new hobby, and a safer way to do any kind of work that could put a life in danger.

6. The idea of technology is completely different. It has been confirmed that technology is difficult to describe or define, but Microsoft Superbowl commercial still explains through the video that how everything is connecting to the society, and how technology has come to assist and comfort the humanity. It provides us with the easier way to observe the meaning of technology. (Microsoft, 2014)

8. When describing technology, it is just a word that is used, but people can find it as a useful meaning to themselves however they would like. The reason is that because technology is anything and it is everywhere. It only depends on the individual what meaning they discover in it. "technology has two primary components: 1) a physical component which comprises of items such as products, tooling, equipments, blueprints, techniques, and processes; and 2) the informational component which consists of know-how in management, marketing, production, quality control, reliability, skilled labor and functional areas." (Vinod Kumar, 1999)

10. First of all, this is my first time using Mind map, and I used it because it is one way to show that technology is also creative. It gives us a chance to improve through many ways, and show the public a way to introduce our new technology as we discover everyday.
