3.1. Contrary to popular belief, the online learning environment is engaging and interactive. With that in mind, there are rules in order for the experience to be successful and that is the use of netiquette. What is netiquette and how is it applied in the online learning environment? In today's society social interaction online is common place, including online learning. Although students are not sitting next to each other in the same room, there are still rules that apply in order for the experience to be pleasant and rewarding for everyone.
