1.1. According to the Harris poll for America’s favorite ice cream flavors, Chocolate is the favorite overall.
1.1.1. On another note, the same Harris poll declared chocolate fudge to be America’s favorite ice cream topping.
2. Chocolate Ice Cream and the chocolate flavor, in general, has a deeper history and the flavor has been more greatly ingrained through the years
2.1. Chocolate Ice Cream was one of the first Ice Cream flavors, created before Vanilla Ice Cream
2.1.1. The history of chocolate runs far back, as early as Pre-Columbian times in Mexico
3. Chocolate is a much more distinct flavor in comparison with Vanilla
3.1. Chocolate ice cream has a distinct flavor that stands on its one. It is not bland like vanilla and, when mixed with other flavors, it can complement while still maintaining its original delicious taste.
3.1.1. Vanilla, on the other hand is very bland is typically a flavor that needs additional ingredients to be flavorful or it is an ingredient added amongst many others to produce greater flavor.
