Of Mice and Men Story Map

1. Exposition
1.1. In California, along the Salinas River. Two migrant workers, George and Lennie, travel to their new job because at the previous one Lennie grabbed a women dress.
2. Conflict
2.1. The pair of workers have been friends for a long time but, because of Lennie childlike mentality the two often find themselves in trouble.
3. Rising Action
3.1. Curly doesn't like Lennie
3.2. Curly's wife is seeks the men's attention
3.3. The pair also make friends with the ranch hands.
4. Climax
4.1. Lennie grabs Curly's wife's hair. She gets nervous and tells him to stop. In turn Lennie panics and accidently breaks her neck.
5. Falling Action
5.1. Lennie runs to the river so George can meet him there.
6. Resolution
6.1. George shoots Lennie and the men and George cover it up before Curly can find them.
