What I've learned from my magazine advert research by Mind Map: What I've learned from my magazine advert research

1. It is important that the advert stands out and theres an interesting element to it

2. there should be a constant theme of colours used so that the advert ties in nicely together and isn't one big 'colour fest'

3. too much black used in the foreground, or white space used in the background, can make the picture more boring and unappealing

4. It is important that there is a common theme across both ancillary tasks and the main task (the magazine advert, digipak and music video), as continuity across different products helping to promote each other is vital

5. The magazine advert should be relevant to the music video, e.g. if the music video is to a song about love, it would be relevant to have a romantic photo used in the advert

6. Words used in the advert should entice readers to buy the album and watch the music video, I can do this by using good adjectives to describe the album and video.
