How are issues in the prison system now compared to before?

1. Male prisoners.
2. Space in prisons.
3. Female Prisoners.
3.1. The amount of women that have been going to prison has increased over the past 10 years.
3.1.1. Many of these women have experienced some sort of sexual abuse, and have had problems with drugs/alcohol.
