1.1. Fluoride the main ingredient in Colgate is a form of the chemical element fluorine.

1.2. Fluoride is used as medicine.

2. Negative consequences with how the product is used?

2.1. Fluoride is safe for most people in the amounts added to public water supplies and used in toothpastes and mouthwashes, and applied by dentists.

2.2. A low dose of supplemental fluoride taken by mouth is safe for most people.

2.2.1. A higher dose of fluoride is unsafe and can weaken bones and muscles, and cause muscle weakness and nervous system problems.

2.3. High doses of fluoride in children before their permanent teeth come through the gums can cause tooth discoloration.

3. How should the product be disposed?

3.1. Fluoride should be disposed by collecting all the waste fluoride and give to a listened toxic industrial waste collector to get rid of the fluoride.

8. If the product is no longer available

8.1. If fluoride is no longer available People, animals and plant life will be healthier.
