2.1. all the inventors and there invetions

2.2. Cities grew in the industrial revolution because they were close to factories that had many people working there. Cities were built around them. So some modern day metropolises started around one factory.

2.3. Today people in Hong Kong or India speak English with a British accent, because of imperialism

2.4. The idea of a labor union started in the industrial revolution, so workers could demand rights. Many workers unions would not exist if it werent for the first in the industrial revolution.

3. WWI

3.1. Rivalries between nations also pushed for expansion: Britain, for example, claimed lands in Africa to keep them out of the hands of France and Germany.

3.2. By the outbreak of World War I in 1914, Europeon nations claimed all of Africa except Liberia and Ethiopia.

3.3. The Allies included Britain, France, Russia, Italy and the United States. These countries fought against the Central Powers which included Germany, Austria-Hungary, Ottoman Empire and Bulgaria. Archduke Ferdinand, of Austria-Hungary, was assassinated by a Serb on June 28, 1914

5.1. Because of the new mining skills that were innovated in the industrial revolution when Europeans found gold and diamonds in the Boer republic in 1867 and 1884. There is a reason why the Boer Republic does not exist today 8 years later Britain made The Union of South Africa out of many British Colonies and in this union only white men could vote and whites gained control of that century for a century.

5.2. The motives for Imperialism in Africa was that they looked upon African societies as possible markets for the goods produced by the Europeon factories, in the Industrial revolution.
