Input and Output Devices

1. Keyboard

1.1. A keyboard is configured like a typewriter to enter data into a computer. It also includes a cursor key to move the pointer. Although keyboards are relatively inexpensive to replace, teachers must pay special attention to ensure they meet their students' needs and confort.

2. Touchpad

2.1. A touchpad is an input device found on a laptop. It is used by rolling the ball on the top with your fingers to move the pointer on the screen. The challenge with the touchpad comes with having a laptop in the classroom in the first place, which can be a lot more expensive than a desktop.

3. Hardware are pysical components that take in input, process it and then send the finished information as output

4. Monitor

4.1. A Monitor is an output device that displays information on the screen in soft copy

5. Printer

5.1. A printer is an output device that allows information to be displayed in hard copy. Printers can also be expensive depending on the model and quality of the device.

6. Software is sets of computer instuctions written in computer language that tells a computer how to function
