1. Choosing the Correct Scale

1.1. Not too big or the numbers will be too close together or the data is too large for it

1.2. Not too small or there will be too much space and we can't tell what number each bar represents

1.3. Scales that are just right aren't too squished and don't have too much space - they are just right!

2. Writing a Good Title

2.1. Key Words

2.2. Descriptive

2.3. Longer than 3 words

3. Putting Data into a Graph

3.1. 1. Write the name of each item on the bottom of the graph

3.2. 2. Find the number of the item on the chart

3.3. 3. Find the same number on the graph above the item and draw a line there

3.4. 4. Fill in the bar from the bottom up to the line
