Frequency adverbs

1. Frequency 100% : always
2. Example: I always go to bed before 11pm.
3. Frequency 90%: usually
4. Example: I usually have cereal for breakfast.
5. Adverbs of frequency always describe how often something occurs, either in definite or indefinite terms. An adverb that describes definite frequency is one such as weekly, daily, or yearly. An adverb describing indefinite frequency doesn’t specify an exact time frame; examples are sometimes, often, and rarely.
6. Frequency 80% :normally / generally
7. Example: I normally go to the gym
8. Fequency 70%: often* / frequently
9. Example: I often surf the internet
10. Frequency 5%: hardly ever / rarely
11. Example: I hardly ever drink alcohol.
12. An adverb of frequency goes after the verb To Be. Subject + to be + adverb *They are never pleased to see me. *She isn't usually bad tempered.
