5. Content Distribution

5.1. Content Distribution is responsible for negotiating distribution deals with new and existing cable operators, digital, and wireless distributors to help bring Viacom programming to consumers' televisions, computers, and mobile devices.

6. Design

6.1. Architecture & Interior Design: Manages all office issues related to physical space such as real estate strategy, short and long-term space planning, design and construction, interior design, furniture selection and purchase, moves and renovations.

6.2. Digital Design (UX/UI): UX/UI teams start with early design ideation through final execution of design deliverables and prototypes. Digital focuses on web development, starting with image preparation to construct web pages.

6.3. Off-Air Creative Design: Functions as an in-house visual communications department which handles a wide variety of print related project including advertising campaigns, package design, consumer products and internal/external support marketing materials.

6.4. Off-Air Graphics: Creates on air elements including opens, bumpers, bugs, transition, and production frames.

6.5. Photography: Maintains photo archives, coordinates photo shoots, distribute photos from external agencies and photographers, as well as help to bring our brands to life with still images for marketing, advertising campaigns, on-air, online and print media.

7. Digital Media/Outline Production

7.1. Responsible for the digital presence of our shows. Helps build web, mobile, and social experiences that will promote our shows, build buzz around new season launches, and engage fans in the digital space.

8. Editorial

8.1. Responsible for all online content and programming; including blogs, articles, reviews, interviews, video descriptions and social media.

9. Events

9.1. Handles small and large non-televised events, like parties, dinners, conferences and trade shows.

10. Finance

10.1. upports the company's overall financial goals through the following areas: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank Reconciliation, Credit and Collection, Financial Planning, General Accounting,Production Accounting, Tax and Treasury.

11. Human Resourses

11.1. Partners with management in negotiations and handles employee relations within a channel. HR handles recruitment and staffing, compensation, benefits and HR systems administration.

12. Licensing

12.1. Licensing's main goal is to negotiate costs and secure rights for music and other media used in programming. They research and review copyright ownership information, draft and prepare music licensing contracts for execution and analyze programming rights information for internal and external clients.

13. Marketing

13.1. Communicates the value of each network to viewers and the cable community in general. There are various areas within Marketing that contribute to the overall impact of the networks' marketing message. These areas include: Affiliate/Partner Marketing, Consumer Marketing, Digital Marketing, and Integrated Marketing.

14.1. Production: Log/transcribe footage, dub media, do production runs, research/brainstorm, and attend field and studio shoots/edits when available.

14.2. Production Management: Handles the business or operational side to production. Responsible for logistical or event planning for the production teams.

14.3. Talent & Casting: Oversees the casting, scouting, and booking of talent fort a channel's on-air and off-air projects. Serve as the liaison between talent and various internal departments and works to maintain and foster the network's synergistic relationship with our talent.

14.4. Tape Library: Provides digital material and other assets for productions both in the U.S. and abroad, work with networks/channels within the company.

14.5. TV & Series Development: Searches for new talent, treatments, and concepts that can be molded and shaped into cutting edge programming.

15. Public Affairs

15.1. Provides meaningful, pro-social initiatives, using the reach and power of each channel to create awareness and motivate action for current issues affecting society.

16. Research

16.1. Uses focus groups, surveys and other tools to provide qualitative and quantitative support in order to develop an understanding of each network's target audience.

17. Standards & Practices

17.1. Responsible for overseeing all content for all original programming that airs, ensuring it meets the standards of each channel. We are also responsible for screening music videos weekly and meeting with the music and talent department to approve music videos that air on our channel.
