FORCES by Mind Map: FORCES

1. F [force] = ma [mass x acceleration]

2. Forces are responsible for the physical interactions between different forms of matter. Without forces, the universe would cease to exist.

3. Effects of Matter

3.1. Forces give matter movement and momentum.

3.2. Keeps matter intact as well.

4. Knowledge on forces would enable us to tell why certain events occur, a well as what could occur in the future.

6. Newton's Laws of Motion are fundamentally built on the Forces

6.1. 1st Law: Law of Inertia - An object at rest or in motion sustains that state unless acted on by an external force.

6.2. 2nd Law: Law of Acceleration - the relationship between force and the object acted upon by the force can be outlined through the formula 'f = ma'.

6.3. 3rd Law: Law of Interacting Forces - Forces are never a one way street. When force from one source is applied to an entity, the entity receiving end returns an equal amount of force back unto the source.
