1.1. The television series are in Japanese.There were early episodes of Tenko productions.People are also required to sing the Japanese national anthem,Kamigayo,every morning and respect the Japanese flag.So,the people of Malaya will honor the emperor of Japan
2. education
2.1. The Japanese established Shonan school which is the most successful such school in southeast asia.During the Japanese Occupation, some teenagers were forced to quit their schools and join Japanese ones.
3. festivals
3.1. there are public holidays during the festive seasons in japan.Shinto and Christian festivals are celebrated.When the Japanese occupied Singapore, they employed Shinto as a tool to manage the Singapore populace to strengthen their political rule. Through the institution of the Shinto festivals, the Japanese strove to unite the Singapore populace in obedience of the Japanese emperor.Christian festivals were specially chosen to analyze how the Japanese managed conflicting monotheistic religious belief with their Shinto faith.
4. Language
4.1. Japan has expanded the use of Japanese language in Malaya hence;the medium of instruction in schools was changed from English to Japanese language
