Apollo and Daphne

1. Not interested in him, and frightened by his approach, she ran away and sought her father's help in escaping Apollo.

2. She was changed into a laurel tree. Watching the transformation happen in his arms, he swore to love her for eternal. Another myth goes as the guitar being made from one of her branches.

3. Daphne's father, the river God Peneus, wanted her to marry and have children. But all she wanted was to hunt in the woods, rejoicing her freedom.

4. One day, Apollo saw Daphne and fell deeply in love.
