1. Benefits of accommodation: It is more personalised to her situation and needs. Being in a mainstream school, she benefits as the school is equipped in handling the situation. Limitations: Limited social interaction due to frequent special education or visits to consultations. Other accommodations that could be given: assistive technology. Natural auditory oral approach as she can have more natural daily interaction. Make use of expressive language since her severity is only moderate, she should be capable of speaking.

2. Nature of hearing loss: Conductive and bilateral. It was acquired as she had repeated and severe ear infection in infancy and early childhood.

3. Possible challenges: She does not hear clearly until sounds reach 40dB level. She experiences hearing loss across all frequencies of sound detectable by the human ear. To help her, she can be given early intervention services through an audiologist, medical intervention and early childhood special educator. she also can have hearing aids and receive speech and language services regularly, developing an IEP for her.
