3. OSR
3.1. all the information in it – is to be kept strictly confidential by school boards.

3.3. Information from OSRs may be released only under certain circumstances. Students themselves, at any age, have the right to access their records, as do their parents.
4. PROFESSIONAL ETHICS
4.1. Wilfully disclosing personal information can result in a fine of up to $5,000
4.2. Most privacy breaches are inadvertent or accidental. Nonetheless
4.3. Personal information is found in many other places besides OSRs (i.e., day planners, classroom website) it is the teachers duty to safeguard it
