1. Phonemic Awareness: 1.11 Distinguish orally stated one syllable words and separate into beginning or ending sounds
1.1. Scaffolding Stratergy
1.2. Tap Into Prior Knowledge asking the students to share their own experiences, hunches, and ideas that contain the sight words. Also, allowing them to create fiction stories as a review of the one syllable words.
1.3. Using Visual aids - reviewing the words with phonemic breakdown using pictures, graphic organizers or even youtube videos. I chose this strategy because it can be colorful, and interesting a good way to keep the students engaged while learning.
1.4. Using High Frequency
2. Concepts About Print: 1.1 Identify the front cover, back cover, and title page of a book.
2.1. Scaffolding Strategy
2.2. Fish Bowl Strategy having one or more of the students whom can identify the parts of the the book will sit in the middle of the circle. The remainder of the class members will surround the selected few. This is a good way to engage all students in an activity with the ones who already understand the concept modeling how it's done for the larger group

2.4. Use think alouds, which will allow you to model your thought process as you: read a text, solve a problem, or design a project. Remember that children's cognitive abilities are still in development so opportunities for them to see developed, critical thinking are essential.
2.4.1. While reading, a book I will make sure the students are identifying the parts of the books, we will start with front cover back cover and title page of the book, then later moving on to introduction, plot , characters etc. I will also use read out loud during carpet time.
