1. Vision: "The Creator has given Native people the gift to reach out to others and to value relationships. We will support all people to reach their potential".

2. Missin: "As the original people of Turtle Island (North America) we are naturally obligated to preserve and sustain or culture and heritage as passed down to us by the Creator, our ancestors and elders. The Centre will be a gathering place to socialize and access services that improve an individual’s quality of life."

3. Guiding Principals: The directors, staff and volunteers are guided by the seven teachings to provided various services, programming and activities.

Wasa- Nabin: A Self-Development Program for Urban Aboriginal At-Risk Youth (13-18 years old) 3. Akwe-go: Urban Aboriginal Children's Program (7-12 years old) 4. Urban Aboriginal Healthy Living Program 5. H.E.A.L.: Healthy Eating Active Living

5. Equity: "The Centre will create networks and develop partnerships to ensure urban Native issues are addressed in a sensitive and equitable manner".  With the seven teachings and these inherent values they form the foundation of the Friendship Centre: sharing, caring, kindness, and strength.
