4. Window formats -the most commonly used image file format on windows is DIB aka BMP -Bitmap used most often
5. Cross-platform formats -JPEG, GIF and PNG -PDF- Manages multimedia content -PSD, AI, CDR, DNF- propietary format used by applications -initial graphics exchange standard (IGS or IGES)
6. Before start to create -plan your approach -organize the available tool -configure computer workspace
7. Bitmap come from -capture a bitmap using a camera -using a scanner -scratch with a paint or drawing program -grab a bitmap from an active computer screen with screen capture program
