1. Family

1.1. Parents: entertainers, - Father is said to be a Willie Nelson look alike. He was a hypnotist, card player, knife thrower. My mother was a dancer. I was born in England – came to USA as a baby, grew up in small town USA with three sisters – one brother.

1.1.1. I adore my husband, truthfully because he adored me first – great protector, friend, step-father to my kids My Viking children (their father is Norwegian). Oldest finished active marine duty last May, went finished Welding school this June and is working in his trade. Thomas… traveler, wants to study Anime in Japan, studies Japanese language and has spent about 7 months in South Korea and Japan over the past 1.5 years. Kirsten, my only daughter, looks and sings like an Angel, studied for 1.5 years, took a break to figure our what she really wants to do, which she has decided … Linguistics Joshua the baby of the family moved out of the house this past February, I would be truly sad except for the fact he is very happy and doing well. He is taking colleges classes at a local community college and besides that and works, spend his spare time playing guitar and piano. He and my daughter want to start busking…. Interesting.

1.1.1.1. Arizona family, my dad re-married and had several children to his second wife, I adore my Arizona family.   They definitely are the laid back hippie type and we are definitely East Coasters but our love for each other reaches to the moon and back

2. Work

2.1. I worked for temp agencies in Baltimore for 10 years, biggest lesson: People are not as smart as they act and I am not as dumb as I thought I was. I worked in many places from driving brand new cars off the ships at the harbor to Martin Marrieta, Baltimore Gas and Electric, to Westinghouse making the first mobile phone (yes I am dating myself here)

2.1.1. I started as a temp at Johns Hopkins and my first job was at the general clinical Research Center. This Center was 100% funded by the National Institutes of Health, National Cancer Center for Research. Our department provided an infrastructure for young investigator’s research grants. We supplied ancillary testing, nursing services and space. I ran the scientific review committees for the pediatric and adult committees to review and accept applications and followed the grant from the moment it came in the door until the study was canceled. I then moved over to Nuclear Medicine where I worked for the next 12 years going from Executive Assistant to Administrative manager of the Division until the Division Director received a promotion and moved to another state. I am currently working in the Department of Radiology supporting the Associate Administrator.

2.2. Had several odd jobs from 10 years of age till I came to Baltimore.

3. Travel

3.1. England 1981: 3 week trip to meet my Uncle Dave and Aunt Eileen. – “lovely tell your mother” We visited Madaam Tussauds in London (the basement of Madaam Tussauds is a chamber of horrors). St. Pauls Cathedral andTrafalgar square.

3.1.1. Mexico 1986 – six month trip. Assisted a missionary family with a correspondence Bible School that had gotten so many application after the 1985 earthquake... Climbed a volcanic mountain. Popocatepetl. It is hard to walk uphill on ash.

3.1.1.1. Norway 1987 – 1990 & 1991-92 for six months. Most beautiful country in the world – the entire country of Norway is a mountain range. You are either going uphill or downhill, the switchbacks are scary. Lived mostly in Bergen, which is a city surrounded by 7 mountains…. 80 sunny days a year. Hiked up Prekestolen Preachers Rock. Traveled many places, took a 3 week tour up the coast from Bergen to Trondheim, Mo I Rano, Boda, Harstad, and Tromso – passed the arctic circle – soooo cool.
