Hera takes Echo's voice away leaving her with only the ability to mimic others.

1. Zeus is notorious for always having affairs with other women other than his wife, Hera.
2. Echo loves to talk and hear her own beautiful voice.
3. Hera and Echo talk while Zeus wanders away.
4. Hera notices Zeus flirting with other women and becomes furious. She is smart to not challenge the king of the Gods and punishes Echo instead.
