1. Social inequalities happen a great deal with mental illness

1.1. An example of that would be the amount of people with mental illness living in Poverty. The reason why most mentally ill people whom are on their own are on Government assistance which unfortunately does not pay well as the mentally ill can sometimes find it hard to maintain employment.

1.2. Another example of social inequality would be someone suffering from social anxiety which makes it difficult for them to enjoy things outside or in a crowded environment. without having a panic attack. This would in-turn make it difficult to associate with society which could lead to a depressive episode from isolation or fear.

2. In social roles People suffering from mental illness come from all walks of life such as a parent, a teacher, a famous person, or an athlete.

2.1. When people suffer from mental illness it can affect their home life as a parent to where they are too depressed to get out of bed and care for their family in their family duties such as cooking, cleaning, or caring for their children.

2.2. when suffering from mental illness it can affect your work place such as low motivation to do work or even not being able to get out of bed to go to work. These issues with mental illness can make everyday living difficult if you can't go to work or you get fired from a job because of poor performance when suffering.

3. Within social conditions it is a factor that people with mental illness have a higher crime rate due to having a mental illness.

3.1. People who suffer from mental illness are more likely to commit theft crimes as a way of survival in society. People also sometimes will self medicate with illegal drugs or alcohol which dis inhibits the mind into committing crimes to be able to support their habit

3.2. People who suffer from mental illness unfortunately do end up unemployed due to the symptoms of their disease which can and sometimes lead to homelessness

4. Societies cultural beliefs sometimes are that  Mental illness can be considered to some as a non disease and it is all in the head.

4.1. People who are trying to live and work in society are subject to stigma where people believe that mental illness is fake and does not exist in the world but is a "hoax"

4.2. Some people believe that if you have a mental illness that you should not be in society because of the alterations in the mind overcoming daily life.

5. People in society believe that by prayer and talking to god that mental illness will go away and get better for that person in society.

5.1. It is believed that people have been to other countries to rid them of the so called " mental issues they may have" this will allow them to be better. just as in some religions you can be healed of being homosexual, which is false.

6. Mental illness has no bias when it comes to age, race, or religious beliefs. Mental illness affects all people from many different walks of life.

6.1. Mental illness has affected famous artists such as Demi Lovato and Vincent Van Gogh

6.1.1. Demi lovato suffers from bipolar disorder and under medication and counseling still is available to perform and live a healthy and productive career.
