Ideas Generation - Third Idea by Mind Map: Ideas Generation - Third Idea

1. Narrative:

1.1. The narrative follows a dynamic and diverse group of friends

1.2. They decide to skip school one day, and come across an abandoned building. They slowly begin to meet here more often, and decorate it as though their own (i.e putting photos up, pinning up notes/drawings passed in class etc)

1.3. One day when they return to the building, their photos have been drawn on in a disturbing manner (i.e showing the group to be dead/killed), but they assume this is a prank and think little of it

1.4. Similar disturbing events continue to happen, until the group decide to stop going to the building. Upon doing so, however, they begin receiving the previously mentioned photos in delivered to their houses, or sent to their phones

1.5. One of the friends is eventually kidnapped, and the others immediately check the abandoned house, where they find themselves trapped

1.6. The group must work together as a team to escape/discover who the culprits are

2. Themes:

2.1. Power of young people - when working together, the friends are able to escape/overthrow the villains

2.2. Unity of young people - they act to save/help one another, rather than themselves

2.3. Identity - despite the situation, the characters remain who they are - young people, dealing with the complexity of growing up

3. Visual/Technical:

3.1. Contrast in presentation of equilibrium/disruption - i.e more high key lighting during equilibrium, fast cuts during disruption (or longer cuts, if suspense is to be built)
